| Case #1: Mr. & Mrs. Serantino presents to your clinic because Mrs. Serantino has been very forgetful and irritable in recent weeks following the death of her sister. She reports having some difficulty with her memory for several years. Mr. Serantino found her yesterday several blocks from their house sitting in her car. He reports that she couldn't remember how to get home. On exam, Mrs. Serantino's motor system, EEG, and CT are normal.

| Case #2: Stanley James has been in a nursing home for the past three years. His intellectual functions are severely diminished. He does not speak or interact at all. He is incontinent and despite positioning efforts, he has experienced rigidity and flexion of his upper and lower extremities causing him to assume the fetal position.

| Case #3: Olivia Jarvis wandered into your clinic totally disoriented. She has no idea who or where she is. She is apathetic, her clothing is torn and dirty. She can't remember if she has any family who might be worried about her. She is coughing and has a slight temperature. Further tests reveal a slow EEG and diminished mental function.
